Dan Gold
Daniel Gold joined the Newark Academy faculty in 2022, later being named the boys' varsity lacrosse head coach. A New Jersey native, Coach Gold was a varsity attackman at Randolph High School and was recruited to play at Emerson College, where he graduated with a degree in film production. After concluding his playing career with team captain and all-conference player accolades, he served as head coach at his alma mater from 2012-2016. Coach Gold then coached at the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2016-2018 and continued his coaching career with stints at three additional independent schools. Coach Gold enjoys spending time with friends and family. He lives in his hometown with his wife Amy and son Jordan.
