Andrea Yan recorded 10 kills, four digs and two aces to lead second-seeded Newark Academy to a straight-set victory over third-seeded Mother Seton, 25-18 and 25-20, in the semifinal round of the NJSIAA/JAG-ONE Physical Therapy Non-Public B tournament.

Andria Huang finished with 19 assists and 11 digs while Fiona Tillyer added seven assists and 13 digs for Newark Academy (19-6), which will face fourth-seeded Lodi Immaculate in the championship round on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at William Paterson University.

Kiki Afolabi tallied five kills and three blocks while Alyssa Cai had seven kills and five digs for Newark Academy, which defeated Lodi Immaculate in straight sets in last season’s sectional quarterfinals.
