Amar Sonnylal
Amar started at Newark Academy as the junior varsity volleyball coach in the fall of 2023. Amar is a setter, but has experience in all positions and has been playing volleyball for close to a decade. Amar played club volleyball at Montclair State University, and prior to that at Montclair Immaculate High School. Off the court, Amar loves to spend his free time playing volleyball, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.
