The Newark Academy boys' and girls' swimming teams were able to finish second in the Essex County Tournament on January 17. A few individuals and relays won their events to contribute to this second place finish. Ali Elmasry finished first in the 200 IM, Laura Kim finished first in the 200 IM and 100 Fly, and Ali Elmasry, Brandon Cortez, Jasper Schieders-Smith, and Ryan Kim finished first in the 200 Free relay.
