The Newark Academy boys' golf team competed in the North Non-Public B Sectional final at Francis A Byrne Golf Course yesterday afternoon. The Minutemen were able to come out on top with a score of 314 over Morristown Beard (349) and Montclair Kimberley Academy (380).

Freshman Arjun Caprihan led Newark Academy to victory by placing first individually with a score of 76. Sophomores Kevin Ha and Shreyas Hariharan tied for second individually with 79s, while Sophomore TJ Betlow rounded out the scoring with an 80 and a T-5 finish.

The Minutemen are currently 12-1 on the season, and are riding a 7 match win streak. They hope to continue their streak when they host Livingston tomorrow at Essex Fells Country Club.
