The Newark Academy girls' tennis team is sending a strong group of seven starters to the NJSIAA Singles and Doubles tournament this coming Saturday, October 8. The tournament is taking place at both Veterans Park in Hamilton Township and Mercer County Park. The team members competing include Mallika Reddy '23, Ayanna Varma '25, Joanna Yu '25, Hilary Adelman '23, Molly Egan '24, Sarah Wang '25 and Siyona Bordia '25.

Any singles players that win will play again on Saturday, and doubles will not play the next round until Sunday. Next Saturday, October 15 is the quarterfinal round which will be held at Mercer County Park.
