The Newark Academy boys' winter track team placed third overall at the Non-Public B State Relay Championship on January 11, 2024. The team finished with a score of 33, behind Bishop Eustace Prep (42) and Union Catholic (72).

The Minutemen also had a few top finishes. First-place finishers include the Shuttle Hurdles team (Tom Pesquin '24, LJ Hines '24, Noah Gezahegn '25 and Lucas Quinteros '26) with a time of 35.10, and the 4x400 relay team (Jordan Hall '26, Jacob During '26, Jaeden Henry '25 and Luka Opacic-Rodrigues '24) with a time of 3:46.31. Newark Academy finished second in the 4x200 relay (Tom, LJ, Noah and Jaeden) with a time of 1:37.98. On the individual level, LJ tied for first in the high jump (5-10).
