The Newark Academy girls' swimming team won the Prep B Championship on Wednesday, February 7. This was the program's second Prep B title in a row. The Minutemen finished with a final score of 346, surpassing all other finishers by over 150 points. The Academy of Saint Elizabeth placed second (161) and Montclair Kimberley Academy followed in third (152). Other schools in attendance were Pennington, Wardlaw-Hartridge, Morristown Beard and Rutgers Prep.

The Minutemen boasted multiple top finishes that helped propel them to their win. First-place finishes included Laura Kim '25 in the 100 Freestyle, and Laura, Meghan Lai '24, Claire Wong '25 and Kim Tran '27 in the 200 Freestyle Relay. Second-place finishes included Laura, Meghan, Claire and Kim in the 200 Medley Relay and Claire in the 100 Backstroke. Third-place finishes for the Minutemen included Laura in the 200 IM, Kim in the 100 Butterfly, Laura in the 100 Freestyle and Kim in the 100 Breaststroke.
